What is the best AI search visibility platform in 2026?

The best AI search visibility platform in 2026, ranked: monitoring, citations, crawler logs, traffic and content tools compared, with sourced pricing and a clear pick.

The word "platform" is doing a lot of work in 2026. Dozens of products now claim to track your brand in AI search, and most of them track prompts and stop. A real platform covers the whole job: what AI engines say, why they say it, which pages they cite, whether their crawlers can reach your site, what traffic follows, and what to do next.

This ranking judges tools on that fuller definition. It uses sourced prices and features only, notes where a figure could not be verified, and does not pretend any tool controls what an engine writes.

How we judged

Five questions, in order of importance.

  1. Coverage. Which engines, and are they monitored through the real interface or only an API?
  2. Evidence. Citations, sources, and fan-out queries that explain an answer.
  3. Technical access. Can you see AI crawlers on your site and the errors they hit?
  4. Outcomes. Does it connect AI visits to conversions?
  5. Action. Does it turn findings into prioritized work, drafts or publishing?

Price matters, but only against what you get. A cheap tracker that stops at question one is not a bargain if you then need three more tools.

The ranking

1. Promptwatch: the most complete platform

Promptwatch is first because it is the one product in this list that answers all five questions in one workspace.

Coverage: real-interface monitoring of ChatGPT (Search), Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, Amazon Alexa and Meta AI, plus API tracking of Claude, DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok and others. Evidence: page and domain citations, Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn reports, query fan-outs per model. Technical access: Agent Analytics with IP-verified AI crawler logs and a crawl-to-citation path. Outcomes: visitor analytics with conversions. Action: the Action Board, Agent Chat, content gap analysis, Content Refresh and, on Business, an automated Content Agent that publishes to WordPress, Webflow or Framer through a review inbox.

Pricing: Explore is free with 10 prompts on ChatGPT only. Essential is $95 a month and has no crawler logs. Professional is $245 and adds them. Business is $579 and adds the Content Agent, state and city tracking, Shopping Insights and Ads Radar. Agency plans run $199, $399 and $799 a month, with unlimited projects and prompts.

2. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ is a GEO platform with a GEO score, an Action Center and a content optimization agent. Starter is $295 a month with 3,600 credits across 11 models, where one credit is one AI response. A free Essential plan has 300 credits. Strong on optimization, with country-level scope on Starter, and no published crawler-log product.

3. Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI Core is $250 a month with 125 prompts, 5,000 responses and four LLMs, plus site audits, sentiment and bot traffic reporting. Enterprise adds nine LLMs and the Agent Experience Platform.

4. Goodie and Evertune

Goodie is a closed-loop AEO platform from $295 a month, with agents that write content and fix technical signals. Evertune is an enterprise measurement platform that samples each prompt up to 100 times per model. Its price is not published.

5. Profound

Profound is sold as an AI marketer with agents for research, content and reporting. Its public page lists a 7-day trial and custom Enterprise pricing, earlier estimated at about $40k a year. Strong engine coverage, but it sits below the dedicated AI-search platforms for most buyers.

6. Suites and agentic tools

Semrush AI Toolkit is listed at $99 a month per domain, though we could not re-verify it. Ahrefs Brand Radar includes Custom Prompts on paid plans and sells an AI Visibility Index from $199 a month. HubSpot AEO is $50 a month for three engines. Agentic tools such as Okara and Outrank automate fixes or articles but publish no citation or crawler evidence.

7. Entry-level trackers

If you only need a prompt tracker on a small budget, Otterly.AI has a Lite plan at $29 a month for 15 prompts, with some engines as paid add-ons. Peec AI focuses on prompt-level monitoring, though its pricing could not be re-verified. Both are monitoring tools rather than full platforms.

Who should pick which

Choose Promptwatch if you want one platform that covers measurement, diagnosis and action, whether you are a brand or an agency. Choose AthenaHQ if a credit-based optimization workflow is the priority. Choose Scrunch if technical page delivery is. Choose an entry-level tracker only when a mention count is truly all you need.

A fair test

Run the same ten prompts in two or three tools for a week. Compare answers against a hand check, and look at what each tool lets you do next. The platform that shows you why you are missing, not just that you are, is the one worth the subscription.
