Wellows vs LLM Pulse (2026): same five engines, two very different meters
Both track ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode, and both give you unlimited seats. One meters answers, the other gates prompts and features. Worked pricing for five workloads.
Quick verdict
Choose Wellows if you track weekly, run many projects, or want white-label reports and an outreach list on the cheapest plan. Choose LLM Pulse if you need daily data on a fixed prompt set, want an MCP server from day one, or care about AI traffic analytics and shopping tracking. On our reading of both pricing pages, Wellows is the better value for agencies and LLM Pulse for single brands that want daily checks. Both leave out the same thing: neither publishes AI crawler logs or session-level conversion tracking, which is the gap Promptwatch fills.
The overlap is unusually large
Most head-to-heads on this desk compare tools with different engine lists. Not this one. Both cover the same core five: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Both give every plan unlimited seats, and both are self-serve with published prices and a free trial. The differences are in how you're billed and what each plan unlocks.

Wellows prices are in US dollars from wellows.com, read 25 October 2026. LLM Pulse prices are in euros from our listing, read 24 October 2026 at monthly billing; annual billing lowers Starter to €40.83, Growth to €82.50 and Scale to €249.17 a month. We haven't converted currencies.
Five workloads, priced
Since the meters differ, the only fair way to compare is to price a workload. All five rows assume all five engines and a 30-day month for Wellows' daily figures. Wellows says weekly cadence costs roughly a seventh of daily, so its weekly rows are estimates.
| Workload | Wellows plan | LLM Pulse plan |
|---|---|---|
| 50 prompts, checked weekly | Basic, $29 | Starter, €49 |
| 150 prompts, checked weekly | Standard, $97 | Growth, €99 |
| 450 prompts, checked weekly | Growth, $249 | Scale, €299 |
| 50 prompts, checked daily | Growth, $249 (Standard covers 43 daily) | Starter daily, €79 |
| 150 prompts, checked daily | Scale, $497 (Growth covers 120 daily) | Growth daily, €149 |
The pattern is clear enough. At weekly cadence, Wellows matches or undercuts LLM Pulse and gives you unlimited projects where LLM Pulse gives one, two or five. At daily cadence the order reverses sharply, because every daily check on five engines draws five answers from a Wellows balance. A single brand that wants 50 prompts checked every morning pays $249 at Wellows against €79 at LLM Pulse.
One more Wellows detail matters for the daily case: if the balance runs out, collection pauses until the billing date, and unused answers don't roll over. LLM Pulse has no balance, so there's nothing to run dry.
What each does better beyond price
Wellows reads the sources, not just the answer. Each citation is classed as explicit (the engine cited your page) or implicit (it cited a third-party page that mentions you), and each cited page that mentions you gets a sentiment label. Cited pages that never mention you become outreach targets with contact emails and a template. KIVA drafts content from your Search Console data and sends it to WordPress for editing. All of that is on Basic.
LLM Pulse goes wider on data. It tracks owned media across YouTube, Reddit and social, offers AI traffic analytics from Growth, and adds ChatGPT Shopping and AI ads tracking at Scale. MCP access on every plan means you can query your data from an AI assistant without paying for the API tier. Our listing describes a small, bootstrapped team in Barcelona that launched in July 2025, which some buyers will see as a plus and others as concentration risk.
Who should pick which
- An agency with ten or more small clients on weekly checks: Wellows. Unlimited projects and white-label on every plan settle it.
- A single brand that wants daily numbers on a stable prompt set: LLM Pulse. The daily Starter and Growth plans cost far less than the Wellows balance needed for the same load.
- A team that wants outreach targets as the main output: Wellows.
- A team that wants AI shopping or ad placements tracked, or Claude data later: LLM Pulse, keeping in mind that the extra engines sit at Enterprise on our listing.
What both leave unanswered
Neither tool publishes AI crawler logs, so neither can tell you whether ChatGPTBot or PerplexityBot fetched the page you're trying to get cited, or whether the request failed. LLM Pulse lists AI traffic analytics, but our listing doesn't document conversions. Wellows publishes no traffic data, and its own FAQ concedes that more citations often don't show up as referral visits.
Promptwatch is our recommendation once those questions come up. Agent Analytics shows the crawl-to-citation path and bot errors from the Professional plan, visitor analytics tie AI-referred sessions to conversions from Essential ($95 a month), and every paid plan covers Claude, Copilot and Grok alongside the five engines these two share. Agencies get unlimited projects and prompts from Kick-off at $199. Start with the free Explore plan at promptwatch.com.
