What are the best AI visibility tools for B2B companies in 2026?

The best AI visibility tools for B2B companies in 2026, ranked: coverage, citation depth, crawler logs, pipeline attribution and pricing from each vendor's page.

B2B buyers have started their vendor research in AI assistants. A procurement lead or a head of marketing asks "best project management software for a 200-person agency" or "alternatives to [incumbent] for mid-market", reads a synthesized answer, and arrives at the shortlist call with an opinion already formed. If your company is missing from that answer, there is no ad impression or ranking position to blame. You simply were not considered.

That makes AI visibility tools a real category for B2B marketing teams in 2026. The question is which ones fit a long sales cycle, a crowded comparison market and a CFO who wants attribution. We ranked the options from the catalog entries on this site, using vendor pricing pages as read on 24 October 2026.

What B2B teams need that a consumer brand does not

B2B prompts cluster around evaluation: "best [category] software for [company size]", "[vendor] vs [vendor]", "[category] tools with SOC 2", "alternatives to [competitor]". The answers lean on third-party sources more than on your own site: review platforms, analyst-style roundups, Reddit threads, LinkedIn posts, YouTube comparisons. So the tool must show citation sources in detail, not just a mention count.

Other requirements follow from that:

  • Persona coverage. A CFO, an IT lead and an end user ask different questions about the same product.
  • Competitor visibility. You are rarely alone in the answer.
  • Pipeline attribution. AI-referred visits need to be tied to demo requests, not only sessions.
  • Access for the team. Marketing, content and sales enablement all want a view, often through Slack or an API.

1. Promptwatch: best overall for B2B

Promptwatch comes first because it covers the whole chain, not just monitoring. The dashboards report Visibility Score, Share of Voice, Sentiment and Position in Answer per model, country and language. Prompt tracking supports personas with persona stacking, topics, tags and competitor-comparison prompt types, plus query fan-outs per model so you can see the sub-questions an engine ran. Competitor heatmaps compare brands against models, topics or countries.

For B2B specifically:

  • Citation analytics go to page and domain level and include Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn reports. LinkedIn matters more for B2B than for most categories.
  • Agent Analytics logs AI crawlers in real time, IP-verified so spoofed user agents are filtered out. It shows which pages bots fetch, which get cited, and where they hit errors.
  • Visitor analytics attribute AI-referred traffic and conversions through a script, GTM template or WordPress plugin. Crisp, a SaaS company, published a case study reporting that its AI-referred traffic converted at twice the rate of traditional channels. That is Crisp's own result, not a promise.
  • Content workflow: content gap analysis, a Content Agent on Business that plans, writes and publishes on a schedule, and publishing to WordPress, Webflow and Framer.
  • Agent access: a hosted MCP server, REST API, Slack and Looker Studio connector, so reports reach the people who need them. SSO and audit logs come with Enterprise and Business respectively.

Pricing: Explore is free (10 prompts, ChatGPT only). Essential is $95 a month, Professional $245, Business $579. Crawler logs start on Professional. Agency plans run $199, $399 and $799. Enterprise is custom.

2. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ is built around action: an Action Center with assignable tasks and a content optimization agent, tracking up to eleven models on Starter ($295 a month, credit-based). Multi-region, multi-language and persona targeting are Enterprise. It lists GA4 and Search Console connections. The catalog entry flags no crawler-log product and no Reddit monitoring. A good second pick for B2B teams that want a task-driven workflow.

3. Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI offers Core at $250 a month (125 prompts, four engines) and an Enterprise plan that adds nine LLMs and its Agent Experience Platform, which serves AI-optimized pages to crawlers. The entry notes weekly refreshes and its acquisition by Sitecore in June 2026, which will matter if you are not a Sitecore shop.

4. Profound

Profound is the enterprise name most B2B buyers have heard. It now sells itself as an AI marketer with agents for research, content and reporting, and its Enterprise plan tracks up to nine answer engines with SSO and SOC 2. The real product is Enterprise, estimated at around $40k a year, with a short 7-day trial. Strong when you want a broad marketing agent suite and have the budget. Less direct as a dedicated AI-search platform.

5. SEO suite add-ons

If your team lives in a suite, the add-ons are cheap to try. Semrush AI Toolkit was listed at $99 a month per domain, but we could not re-verify that on the vendor's page. Ahrefs Brand Radar includes Custom Prompts with paid Ahrefs plans, and its AI Visibility Index starts at $199 a month. HubSpot AEO is $50 a month and tracks three engines. SE Ranking adds an AI Search add-on from EUR 79 a month. None lists AI-referred conversion analytics in the catalog, and only Ahrefs mentions crawler activity reporting.

6. Trackers and the rest

LLM Pulse starts at EUR 49 a month for weekly tracking with unlimited seats and MCP on every plan. Superlines starts at EUR 79 a month for three engines of your choice. Gauge is $599 a month for 600 daily prompts across three platforms. These suit teams that only need monitoring. At the bottom of our ranking for B2B, Otterly.AI starts at $29 a month for 15 prompts and is monitoring only.

Who should pick which

  • A B2B marketing team that wants measurement, diagnosis and content in one place: Promptwatch.
  • A team that will work a daily action queue: AthenaHQ.
  • A large company buying a marketing agent suite: Profound, with the budget conversation up front.
  • A team already in Ahrefs or HubSpot that wants a first look: the add-ons, then graduate.

How to run the evaluation

Pick 30 prompts across your real evaluation questions, tag them by persona, and include three competitor-comparison prompts per rival. Run them for a month. Then compare what each tool tells you about sources: which review sites, Reddit threads and LinkedIn posts get cited, and what to do about it. The tool that gives you a to-do list, and shows whether the pages you fix get crawled and cited, is the one worth keeping.
