Local Falcon AI Visibility Tracking: AI Search, Local GEO Features, and Pricing (2026)
Local Falcon's credit pricing and geo-grid features set against Promptwatch and BrightLocal Local AI Visibility, priced at one five-location workload, with a verdict.
Quick verdict
Local Falcon is the cheapest way to collect a lot of local AI answers. Per answer it undercuts both rivals here by a wide margin, and its geo-grid shows variation across a service area that neither of them can draw. BrightLocal Local AI Visibility is the cheapest flat bill for a BrightLocal customer, with tight limits. Promptwatch costs the most at small workloads and is the only one of the three that follows an answer back to your website: crawler logs, citations at page level, and AI-referred conversions.
So pick on the job. If the client wants a map of where in town AI recommends them, that's Local Falcon. If you need a local AI program that explains drops and proves bookings, that's Promptwatch, and BrightLocal is worth switching on in the meantime if you already pay for it. For the two-way version of this comparison, see Promptwatch vs Local Falcon.

Local Falcon in brief
Local Falcon came from geo-grid tracking for Google Maps and Apple Maps, and its AI scans work the same way. Pick a location, keyword, grid size and radius, then choose AI platforms. Each grid point is one AI answer. Reports show Share of AI Voice (the share of points where AI mentions you), a Buyer Persuasion Score from -10 to +10, the phrases AI uses with sentiment, the sources it drew on, and the competitors it named. Falcon AI adds a written analysis for 25 credits. Campaigns schedule scans, the Trend Report tracks SAIV over time, and the same keyword can run on Google Maps for a side-by-side with Share of Local Voice.
Packages: Starter $24.99 (7,500 credits), Basic $49.99 (15,150), Pro $99.99 (31,250), Premium $199.99 (63,150, also given as 63,000), and enterprise from $499 to $4,999 a month. Monthly credits expire each cycle, while pay-as-you-go credits cost $0.05 and never expire. The pricing page and llms.txt also disagree on which plans include Falcon Agent.
Same workload, three bills
Comparing these tools on price only works if the job is fixed. Ours:
- 5 locations, 10 prompts (or keywords) per location
- ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, which all three tools track (so does Google AI Mode)
- Weekly measurement where the tool lets you pick; Promptwatch runs daily, so we price it daily
- No Falcon AI reports; add 25 credits per report if you want them
We assume Local Falcon counts each platform as its own scan, as its list of usage drivers suggests. For Promptwatch we assume one response is one prompt answered by one model, and that allowances are monthly. The published numbers fit that reading: 50 prompts x 4 models x 30 days is exactly Essential's 6,000 responses.
| Option | How the volume adds up | Monthly volume | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local Falcon, 3x3 grid | 5 x 10 x 9 points x 2 engines x 4 weeks | 3,600 credits | $24.99 (Starter) |
| Local Falcon, 9x9 grid | 5 x 10 x 81 x 2 x 4 | 32,400 credits | $157.49 (Pro plus 1,150 pay-as-you-go credits) or $199.99 (Premium) |
| Local Falcon, 11x11 grid | 5 x 10 x 121 x 2 x 4 | 48,400 credits | $199.99 (Premium) |
| BrightLocal Track, 2 to 5 locations | 10 of the 20 allowed prompts per location, weekly, on its three engines | Within the cap | $62 ($558/yr) |
| Promptwatch Agency Kick-off (agencies) | 5 city monitors x 10 prompts x 2 engines x 30 days | 3,000 of 10,000 responses | $199 |
| Promptwatch Business | Same, as city monitors or pinned to coordinates | 3,000 of 42,000 responses | $579 |
| Promptwatch Agency Scale | Same, with coordinate pins for an agency | 3,000 of 65,000 responses | $799 |
On annual billing, Promptwatch charges 12 months for the price of 10, which brings Kick-off to $1,990 a year (about $165.83 a month) and Business to $5,790 (about $482.50 a month). BrightLocal annual works out to $46.50 a month. Local Falcon's annual packages cost the same as twelve monthly payments and add some credits from Basic up.
How to read the table. A 9x9 grid collects 32,400 answers a month for under $200, about a third of a cent each. Promptwatch's Business allowance works out to roughly 1.4 cents per response. That's the honest cost gap. What Promptwatch buys with it is daily data rather than weekly, eight real-UI engines, and the website layer the other two don't describe. BrightLocal is cheapest overall if you're already on it, but you can't go past 20 prompts or export the results.
Note also what each option can't do at any price. Promptwatch measures one point per monitor and draws no grid. Coordinate pins only change ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode answers, and a pin can't be moved once set. Local Falcon and BrightLocal don't describe crawler logs or AI-referred conversions. Promptwatch's Essential and Professional plans track by country only, so neither belongs in a city program.
Where each one wins
Local Falcon wins on spatial detail, entry price and unlimited keywords, and it's the only one here that puts AI and Google Maps results on one credit balance. Zapier and n8n are on its integration list, which matters if your reporting lives in a workflow tool.
BrightLocal wins on simplicity for its own customers. The module is included, scores each location from 0 to 100 against the competitors AI names, and sends citation gaps to Citation Builder.
Promptwatch wins on explanation and proof. Agent Analytics shows whether GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot reached a location page and how often that page gets cited. Visitor analytics counts AI-referred visits and conversions. The Action Board turns findings into prioritized tasks, and on Business the Content Agent writes and publishes the missing pages through a review inbox. Our coordinate vs city-level comparison covers choosing the location level.
Who should pick which
Pick Local Falcon if you're a local SEO agency or a service-area business whose clients ask "which neighbourhoods", you already think in map grids, and you'll watch the credit meter.
Pick BrightLocal Local AI Visibility if you're already on Track, Manage or Grow, have a handful of locations, and want a weekly score without another bill.
Pick Promptwatch if you run several locations or an agency book, need more engines than Google's surfaces and ChatGPT, and have to show that AI answers bring in customers. Agencies get city tracking on every plan from Kick-off, while brands need Business for cities and coordinates.
Teams that need both views can run a quarterly Local Falcon grid on flagship locations next to daily Promptwatch monitors. If you'd buy only one, buy the one that explains a drop: start the Promptwatch 7-day free trial on monthly billing with your five locations as monitors.
