What AI visibility tool works for multi-language or multi-country tracking?
Which AI visibility tools handle multi-language and multi-country tracking, what each plan includes, where the limits are, and how to set up international prompts.
If you sell in more than one country, you have a measurement problem that single-market tools hide. ChatGPT answers a German buyer's question differently from an American's, and Google AI Overviews can name different brands depending on country and language. An AI visibility tool that checks one market tells you very little about the others.
This guide compares the tools on the one question that matters here: can they track prompts by country and language, at what plan level, and what do they leave out? Pricing and features come from vendor pages as recorded in the catalog entries (read on 24 October 2026), plus Promptwatch's published documentation.
What multi-country and multi-language tracking should mean
There are three separate things, and vendors blur them:
- Country targeting. The prompt runs as if asked from a given country.
- Language. The prompt is written and answered in that language, which is not the same as translating results afterward.
- Sub-country location. State, city or coordinates, which matters for local businesses.
A tool may offer one without the others. Also check whether countries and languages count as separate projects, extra prompts or extra credits, because that is where multi-market budgets go wrong.
One caution applies to every tool. Do not translate your English prompt list and assume it matches how local buyers search. Native-language prompts written by someone who knows the market are more useful than translations.
1. Promptwatch: the most complete international setup in our catalog
Promptwatch runs prompt panels daily per model, country and language. That is built into how monitors work, not an add-on. The details:
- Country-level tracking is on every paid plan, including Essential at $95 a month.
- State and city tracking start on Business ($579 a month) and are included on all agency plans.
- Local GEO/SEO targeting (October 2026) pins a monitor to exact coordinates with a radius from 20 meters to 5 kilometers, so ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode answer as if asked from that spot. Other models fall back to country, state or city. It is on Business, Agency Scale and Enterprise.
- Heatmaps compare any two dimensions, such as brands against countries, so you can see where you lead and where you do not.
- Dashboards and reports can be filtered by country and exported as PDF, scheduled reports or CSV.
Beyond tracking, crawler logs (Agent Analytics) show whether AI bots reach your localized pages, and visitor analytics attribute AI-referred traffic and conversions. Content can be published to WordPress, Webflow (including localized collections) and Framer. That helps when the fix for a weak market is a localized page.
Models are tracked through the live UI for ChatGPT Search, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, Amazon Alexa and Meta AI, with others via API. Pricing: Explore is free (ChatGPT only), Essential $95 a month, Professional $245, Business $579, and agency plans at $199, $399 and $799 with unlimited projects and prompts.
2. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ Starter ($295 a month, credit-based) covers 11 models and country-level support, but the catalog entry says Starter is single-country, so multi-market brands are pushed to Enterprise. Multi-region and multi-language support and persona targeting are Enterprise features. A good fit if you can budget for Enterprise and want the action workflow. Not a practical entry point for a brand that needs several countries on a mid-market budget.
3. Scrunch AI
Scrunch AI Core is $250 a month with 125 prompts and four engines, and its Enterprise plan adds nine LLMs. The catalog entry does not document country or language targeting, so ask the vendor how markets are handled and whether each country consumes prompt allowance. It notes that prompt credits are consumed per engine, so multi-engine and multi-market tracking use allowances quickly.
4. Profound
Profound Enterprise covers up to nine answer engines, and the pricing page mentions per-client workspaces on an agency plan. Country and language handling is not documented in the catalog entry, and the Enterprise contract was estimated at around $40k a year. Ask directly.
5. Suite and local tools
Gauge Growth is $599 a month and covers one location, with more on Enterprise. BrightLocal anchors each query to a location, up to 20 prompts per location, which suits many small sites but not an international brand. Birdeye Search AI reports by location across seven engines and publishes no price. LLM Pulse is from EUR 49 a month, and Superlines from EUR 79, but we could not confirm their country and language handling from the catalog, so check before assuming. Semrush AI Toolkit and Ahrefs Brand Radar are suite add-ons whose international coverage you should check on the live pages.
6. Otterly.AI and Peec AI
Both appear in searches for this topic, so for completeness: Otterly.AI lists 65+ countries in its catalog entry. Peec AI's pricing and limits did not render when we last read its page, so we cannot confirm what its country and language support looks like. In both cases ask which countries and languages are included at the plan you would buy.

Who should pick which
- A brand tracking several countries and languages on a mid-market budget: Promptwatch.
- A global enterprise that wants a task-driven workflow and can fund Enterprise: AthenaHQ or Promptwatch Enterprise.
- An agency tracking different markets for many clients: a Promptwatch agency plan, since projects and prompts are unlimited.
- Local multi-branch networks: Birdeye or Promptwatch city and coordinate tracking.
Setting up international tracking
Start with the three or four markets that matter most. For each, write native-language prompts with a local speaker or editor, and include market-specific competitors, since the brands named in Germany may not be those named in Spain. Tag prompts by country and language, then compare markets on the same heatmap. Check crawler logs for your localized pages, since a market page that bots cannot reach will never be cited. Expand to more markets once the first ones give you something to act on.
