GEO tool pricing pages compared side by side (2026)
Eight GEO and AI visibility pricing pages captured on the same day and read side by side: what each entry price buys, what sits behind a sales call, and which multiplier to watch.
A pricing page is the first piece of evidence a vendor hands you, and it tells you more than the headline number. It shows what the company thinks it is selling (prompts, responses, credits, checks, seats), how much it is willing to say before a sales call, and where the bill grows once you start using the product properly.
For this roundup we captured eight pricing pages on November 6, 2026, from a Netherlands IP address, and read them side by side. Where a page geolocated, it showed euros, and we quote the euros as shown rather than converting them. We checked every figure against the captured page text and our catalog. We did not buy plans or run accounts. The ranking answers one question: if you are buying for AI search visibility, how far does each page get you toward a confident decision, and how much useful work does the entry price buy?
We judged each page on five things:
- Is there a price for a plan you can buy today without talking to anyone?
- Are the limits written in units you can compare, such as prompts, responses or engines?
- What is held back for a sales call?
- What are the trial terms?
- Which multiplier (credits, add-ons, checks, extra users) will move the real bill?
Quick verdict
Promptwatch has the most complete pricing page for an AI visibility buyer. It shows three priced brand plans and a separate agency tab, a 7-day free trial on every self-serve paid plan, unlimited seats, and limits in prompts and responses. The entry price also buys more than tracking. AthenaHQ and Scrunch AI are clear about their entry plans but push much of the interesting product to Enterprise. Ahrefs and Semrush publish plenty of numbers, but AI tracking is a small allowance inside an SEO subscription. Profound publishes no prices at all.

All figures as shown on each vendor's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026.
1. Promptwatch: three prices, an agency tab and a trial on all of them
Promptwatch's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026.
The Promptwatch page answers most of the five questions before you scroll. Essential is $95 a month for 1 project, 50 prompts and 6,000 responses. Professional is $245 for 2 projects, 150 prompts and 18,000 responses. Business is $579 for 5 projects, 350 prompts and 42,000 responses. A euro toggle shows €85, €205 and €499. Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 10, seats are unlimited on every plan, and the 7-day free trial applies to every self-serve paid plan on monthly billing, including Business. Only Enterprise needs a sales call. An Agencies tab lists Kick-off at $199, Growth at $399 and Scale at $799 a month, each with unlimited projects and prompts.
The page is also clear about gating, which matters more than the price. Agent Analytics (the AI crawler logs) starts on Professional. Business adds up to hourly tracking, state and city tracking, Shopping Insights, Ads Radar, Fact Check and audit logs. So the multiplier to watch is the jump from Essential to Professional if you want crawler data, not a per-engine fee.
One phrase needs reading carefully. The cards say "Track all models." Read that as: every paid plan can track any of the supported engines. If you need a specific set of engines on every prompt, confirm how your tier handles that before you buy.
2. AthenaHQ: a clear entry plan priced in credits
AthenaHQ's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026.
AthenaHQ shows one paid price: Starter at $295 a month, with a monthly or annual toggle (17 percent off annually). Starter includes 3,600 credits, a 1-month credit rollover, 11 models, unlimited topics, prompts and competitors, and country-level support. A free Essential tier gives 300 credits on five engines. The page states the unit plainly: one credit equals one AI response.
That unit is the multiplier. Credits scale with prompts times engines times frequency. Thirty prompts across four engines, checked daily, is about 3,600 responses a month, which is the whole Starter allowance. The page also says API access and extra credits are "optional add-ons billed on top of the Starter subscription" and asks you to contact them for add-on pricing. Enterprise holds the Knowledge Base and claim review, multi-region and multi-language support, persona targeting, SSO and the audit log.
It ranks second because the entry plan is priced and the unit is honest. You just have to do the math yourself.
3. Scrunch AI: one price, then a big jump
Scrunch AI's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026.
Scrunch AI is easy to read. Core is $250 a month with a 7-day free trial, for 125 unique prompts, 5,000 responses a month, 5 site audits, 1 brand workspace and 5 user licenses. It covers four LLMs (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot), one country, one language, one persona and five competitors. The comparison table below the cards is detailed, with every row marked for Core and Enterprise.
What the table shows is how much lives on the other side. Enterprise adds nine LLMs, AXP (the agent-facing page layer Scrunch is known for), API and MCP access, Looker Studio, SSO and a dedicated account team, all without a price. The multiplier is responses: 125 prompts on four engines is 500 responses per full run, so 5,000 covers about ten full runs a month. There is a "For agencies" tab, and the FAQ asks "Do you offer annual pricing?" without the answer showing in our capture.
4. Rankshift: transparent tiers, credits underneath
Rankshift's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026. Prices shown in euros for a visitor in the Netherlands.
Rankshift shows three prices, billed annually: Starter at €69, Professional at €159 and Business at €359 a month. Currency switches between euros, dollars and pounds, and annual billing saves 10 percent. Every paid plan has unlimited projects and seats, tracks all LLMs, offers daily or weekly refresh, and includes a content brief generator and an AI content writer. The limits come as prompts per day (150, 350, 850) and credits (9,500, 22,000, 53,000), and a credit calculator sits under the cards. The 30-day trial is the longest of the eight.
Read the Starter card closely. In the screenshot, crawler analytics, Looker Studio and MCP and API access are greyed out on Starter and start on Professional. So the realistic entry price for a team that wants bot data is €159.
5. Writesonic GEO: annual prices up front, monthly prices behind the toggle
Writesonic's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026.
Writesonic GEO loads with the annual toggle on and shows Starter at $79, Basic at $199 and Growth at $399 a month, billed annually, with a "save 20%" label. The cards are specific: 50, 100 or 200 prompts; 15, 25 or 50 AI articles; site audits; users and projects. Every self-serve plan tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. The header promises a free start with no credit card.
The multipliers are users and engines. Extra users cost $50 a month each, up to a cap per plan. Sentiment analysis starts on Growth, and the Action Center on Growth is a trial of five on-page and five off-page actions a month. All nine AI platforms, Fact Check and the full Action Center are Enterprise. The monthly prices weren't visible in our capture, so check them with the toggle before comparing against monthly-billed tools.
6. Profound: a defined trial and no prices
Profound's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026.
Profound publishes no prices. The page shows a free Trial and a custom Enterprise plan. The Trial is well defined: 50 prompts run daily for 7 days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, with limited AI Marketer credits, no history, no exports and no API. Enterprise lists up to nine answer engines, a tailored prompt plan, AI Marketer credits for the whole team, ChatGPT Shopping, exports, API, SSO and SOC 2. Our catalog's earlier estimate puts Enterprise contracts at around $40,000 a year, a figure that does not appear on this page.
On transparency alone it would sit lower. It ranks above the two SEO suites because the trial is specific enough to test with, and because what it sells is a dedicated AI search and agent product rather than an allowance inside an SEO plan. The page also answers its own FAQ "Is Profound only for AI search?" with a no, which tells you how it sees itself.
7. Ahrefs Brand Radar: many numbers, priced in checks
Ahrefs' pricing page, captured November 6, 2026. Prices shown in euros for a visitor in the Netherlands.
Ahrefs Brand Radar sits inside one of the most detailed pricing pages anywhere. The core plans are Lite at €119, Standard at €229 and Advanced at €419 a month, with Enterprise at €1,394 a month on an annual commitment. For AI search, each plan includes a number of checks on AI prompts: 150, 300 or 600 a month, which the comparison table translates to 5, 10 or 20 tracked prompts updated daily. One check is one prompt on one platform in one location. Brand Radar AI, the research index across "538 million+" organic prompts, starts at €179 a month and can be bought standalone. Custom prompt packages add checks: Basic €46.7 (2,500 checks), Growth €93 (7,000) and Scale €234 (25,000), with overage billed per check.
The multiplier is the check. Ten prompts on three platforms daily is about 900 checks a month, which is more than Advanced includes. The FAQ is blunt that Ahrefs never runs discounts, and there is no trial beyond an Ahrefs Free account.
8. Semrush: AI tracking bundled into SEO tiers
Semrush's pricing page, captured November 6, 2026. Prices shown in euros for a visitor in the Netherlands.
Semrush now sells AI visibility as part of "SEO + AI Search" plans. The cheapest SEO plan (€134 a month, or €112.52 billed annually) has AI search tracking crossed out. Starter is €190 a month, or €158.40 billed annually, and includes 50 prompts tracked daily, 1 domain for AI brand performance and 300 AI visibility reports a day, alongside the SEO tools and MCP access. Pro+ (€286, or €238 annually) moves to 100 prompts, and Advanced is custom with unlimited prompts. There is a 7-day free trial and a free account. Additional users start at €43 a month.
For a GEO buyer, the issue is that most of the bill pays for SEO. If you already use Semrush, that's convenient. If you don't, you are buying a keyword suite to get 50 prompts.
Who should pick which
- You want to buy self-serve, with the trial on the plan you'll use: Promptwatch. Start on Professional if crawler logs matter.
- You will work an action queue and can model credits: AthenaHQ.
- You want to test agent-facing pages and can reach Enterprise: Scrunch AI.
- You run an agency and want unlimited seats at a published price: Rankshift, from Professional if you need crawler data or the API.
- You want articles and tracking on one annual bill: Writesonic GEO.
- You are buying an enterprise agent program: Profound.
- You already pay for Ahrefs or Semrush: use the included prompts first and see if they answer your question.
Our recommendation
The useful test for any of these pages is what the entry price buys once you get past "were we mentioned." On Promptwatch, the step from Essential to Professional ($245) buys IP-verified crawler logs through Agent Analytics, which show whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot fetched the page you want cited. Visitor Analytics comes with every plan, so you can also see whether AI answers sent anyone who converted. The other pages get partway there: Scrunch Core lists bot traffic reporting, Rankshift keeps crawler analytics for Professional, and Profound lists Agent Analytics but prices nothing. Promptwatch's is the only page here that puts a published price on crawler logs and AI-referred conversions together. Start the 7-day free trial on Professional with the prompts you already track, and compare the bill with what the same work would cost on the credit- and check-based pages above.
FAQ
Which GEO tool pricing page is the most transparent?
Promptwatch and Rankshift show the most. Both list several priced tiers with limits, and Promptwatch also shows its agency plans and offers a trial on every self-serve paid plan. Profound is the least transparent, with no prices at all.
Why do some pages show euros?
They geolocate. From a Netherlands IP, Otterly.AI, Rankshift, Ahrefs, Semrush, Surfer, LLM Pulse, Rankscale and others showed euros. We quote those prices as shown and don't convert them.
What does "credits" mean on these pages?
It depends on the vendor. On AthenaHQ, one credit is one AI response. On Ahrefs, one check is one prompt on one platform in one location. Rankshift combines prompts per day with a monthly credit pool. In each case the real cost scales with prompts times engines times frequency.
Which tools offer a free trial?
On the captured pages: Promptwatch (7 days on every self-serve paid plan, monthly billing), Scrunch AI (7 days on Core), Rankshift (30 days), Profound (a 7-day trial), Semrush (7 days) and AthenaHQ (a free Essential tier). Writesonic offers a free start without a card. Ahrefs offers no trial.
Is the cheapest entry price the cheapest tool?
Rarely. The entry price is the floor. Credits, engine add-ons, per-check overage and extra users decide the real number, so model your own prompt count across the engines you need before comparing.
